“DJ AM is the Entertainment Industry’s premier DJ, his name is synonymous with what’s happening in both music and pop culture in Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas & Miami.

Before he became a full-time DJ, AM was already a fixture in the music world. He was a member of the rock group Crazytown who’s song “Butterfly” off the Platinum album: “The Gift of the Game” went straight to number 1 on the top 40 charts in April of 2001. He is in demand by everyone in the music business from A to Z and his work has appeared on albums for Madonna, Will Smith, Babyface, Powerman 5000, Bubba Sparxx, Nikki Costa and Papa Roach to name a few. He currently has a record deal with Interscope.

Most recently, DJ AM has partnered with Travis Barker (Blink 182) to perform a live DJing/drumming set, something that has never been done before. NEW YORK (CNN) — “Nearly a year after surviving a plane crash in South Carolina, disc jockey Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein was found dead in his New York apartment Friday afternoon, his publicist said.

His publicist,Jenni Weinman, said the circumstances of his death were unclear.

Goldstein and Travis Barker, the former drummer for rock band Blink-182, were the only survivors of a September 2008 plane crash in South Carolina that left both critically injured.”
