I think, this, is a really good song.
INTERVIEW.
1. How were you first introduced to electronic music?
It depends on how you define electronic music! I started playing electric guitar when I was 11 years old and that involves electronics. I was really into hip hop in high school and got an mpc and a 4 track and started sampling records and that was where I was introduced to the idea of making sounds that aren’t from conventional instruments. As I started to record on a computer in college then I got further into electronic and non traditional sounds that aren’t made by regular instruments. I really tried not to use my guitar much at all for a period of years but have since started using it much more.
2. What is the electronic scene like in your area?
In New York there is everything I suppose! What I tend to see is the sort of disco / electro type scene happening. That is just what I gravitate towards but I am sure every type of music is happening somewhere in this city! Do people still have raves anymore where they play jungle and drum and bass??
3. Currently, who are some of your favorite artists?
Some of my favorite people making electronic / dance kind of music right now are Aeroplane, Classixx and Holy Ghost! I think those three artists make the best remixes around right now.
