When I first heard the name Metro Area, I wasn’t sure if I knew the music. So I pulled up their Beatport page and found some rad tracks that were familiar to me. Top tracks like “Miura” and “Proton Candy” are very breezy, and it’s obvious why they are so loved. Based in Brooklyn, Metro Area is a Nu Disco / House group comprised of Morgan Geist and Darshan Jesrani. Decibel and Shameless are holdin’ down Flash Fridays at Q in Seattle. Tomorrow, they will join forces with Trouble to feature Metro Area’s Darshan Jesrani, DJ Trouble and residents Nordic Soul and Recess.
