Just got back from the Seattle screening of ODDSAC, the visual album pioneered by the very nifty Animal Collective and directed by Danny Perez.
In ten years Animal Collective has developed into quite the group. I’m just now appreciating their music, and a friend of mine, Cael, has helped to solidify my interest.
There latest project is a whopping 4 years in the making! The dark psychedelic journey through ODDSAC was really something, mixed reactions from the crowd-but I think that’s when it’s really interesting and pushes your ideas of what a film should be.
